Graduating from Edinburgh College of Art he began working for the Edinburgh based company Ko-Lik Films, working as an animator and designer on a BAFTA winning series. He then joined Glasgow studio PlayDead Ltd (now Revenant) as an art director and designer using and the Adobe Creative Suite / Cinema 4D to create award winning adverts, title sequences and visuals for clients such as BBC, ITV and Paul Smith.
In 2016 he moved to London and began working with advertising agency Publicis London (now Publicis.Poke), where he applied his knowledge of art direction, graphic design and motion to global clients such as Heineken, Gu, Garnier, Renault and Nescafe.
After more than two years in the advertising industry he moved into fashion in 2018, joining luxury British lifestyle brand Ted Baker as their Film & Motion Design Manager, concepting and directing the design and execution of the companies moving image offering, along with stills shoots, social first content and DOOH. Since then he has moved into the position of Brand Creative Manager; ideating and implementing design solutions and creative strategy to Ted Baker’s plethora of collection based campaigns and overseeing the entire creative output of the brands in-house team of Graphic Designers, Motion Designer’s, Copy Writers and Digital Designers.
